Train as a counsellor. Start with yourself.
The Self-Esteem Counsellor Course is a fifteen-month training programme built on self-esteem as the foundation of counselling practice. It leads to registration for the QCTO Community Counsellor occupational skills programme at NQF Level 5.
Nikki Munitz Self Development Consultancy, trading as Nikki Munitz & Associates, is accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations as a Skills Development Provider to offer this programme. Accreditation number 07-QCTO/SDP080125094122.
Why the course is longer than it has to be
The QCTO Community Counsellor programme requires a modest minimum number of study hours. In our view that is not enough time to prepare anybody to sit with another human being in difficulty.
QCTO permits providers to exceed the minimum. So we built a longer programme, grounded in self-esteem, that contains the accredited component in full and adds the depth we believe the work actually requires.
You leave with the registration. You also leave able to do the job.
Are you ready to go beyond surface level?
This is not just another training programme. It is an invitation to elevate how you work and how you show up, for yourself and for others.
Whether you are a coach, a counsellor, or somebody longing to make a difference, this is your chance to develop real, sustainable tools to empower others. You will learn to guide people to the root of change: their sense of self-worth.
We do not just train practitioners. We grow authentic healers, people who lead with integrity, self-love, and the experience of their own courageous work.
Why it starts with your own work
The first three months are spent on yourself, through the Golden Key Programme. You cannot guide somebody to the root of their own worth without having been there.
The Golden Key is completed as your own personal development. It is not part of what you are qualified to deliver afterwards, and completing it does not licence you to facilitate it. The Golden Key is a separate, protected programme.
