Step away from your life. Come back to yourself.
There are times when an hour-long session, a book, a podcast or even a programme is not enough. Sometimes you need to remove yourself from the noise of everyday life for long enough to hear yourself again.
NMA retreats are immersive personal-development experiences designed to create the space, the support and the environment for deep reflection, emotional healing, reconnection and meaningful change.
They are not about escaping your life. They are about stepping away from it long enough to understand how you are living it, and what you may want to change when you return.
Small by design
Retreats are never larger than twelve people, and most are considerably smaller. The groups could be as small as one couple for example.
That is deliberate. The work these retreats do is not possible in a large group, and the size is part of what you are paying for.
The themes
Rather than a fixed calendar, our retreats are built around themes. Tell us which one speaks to you and we will let you know when the next one is being planned.
Building a relationship with yourself
The foundation of everything else. Boundaries, responsibility, self-worth, self-trust and the emotional patterns that shape the life you end up living.
Enhancing a relationship with your partner
For couples. Communication, repair, honesty and the work of choosing each other deliberately rather than by default.
Burnout and nervous system regulation
For people who are still functioning but running on empty, and who know that another holiday will not fix it.
Enhancing your recovery
For people already in recovery who want to go deeper than weekly sessions allow.
Corporate retreats
For teams and leadership groups. The same work, adapted for people who have to go back and lead something on Monday.
Self-esteem at the heart of the work
We can change jobs, relationships, locations, bodies and circumstances. But if the relationship we have with ourselves stays unchanged, we usually recreate the same struggles in a different form.
So our retreats do not only ask “what do I want?” They ask “who am I in relationship with myself?”
Spirituality and connection
For many people, transformation involves something beyond intellectual understanding.
Selected retreats create space for spirituality, meaning and connection without prescribing any particular religion or belief system. Africa has an extraordinarily rich spiritual heritage, and some experiences draw respectfully on African traditions, nature-based practices, ceremony and the guidance of experienced practitioners.
People of all faiths, and people who do not identify with any faith, are equally welcome. The intention is not to tell you what to believe. It is to create enough space and stillness for you to explore what connection and meaning mean to you.
Equine facilitated work
Selected retreats include work alongside horses, facilitated by Nikki, who holds a Level 2 Certificate in Equine Facilitated Interactions from the Athena Herd Foundation.
It is also available as standalone one-to-one sessions.
Register your interest
